The Challenge

Peter Hirrlinger a copywriter, needed a site that allowed him to express himself through the written word in a unique way through copy, concepts, and ideas. Instead of relying on imagery to carry the site, I need a way to give words visual gravity.

The Process

Through in-depth research on the history typography, being inspired by different design methodologies, and ideation sessions with the team and the client, I found that the most obvious path forward was to utilize inspirations from old newspapers designs.

The Solution

The newspaper approach allowed for the words to shine while taking a new stab at the traditional grid systems that retro newspapers used in the past. All in all the website was a success with an increase of client interactions that the copywriter is benefiting from.
